Meg Owens

Meg Owens, oboe, has appeared with the New York Collegium, Apollo's Fire, Washington Bach Consort, Berkshire Bach Society, and numerous orchestras and chamber ensembles in the New York and Washington, DC areas. She has appeared in recital with such esteemed artists as Ani Kavafian, Eugene Drucker, Paula Robison, and Kenneth Cooper.

She holds a Master's degree from the Manhattan School of Music, and is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the City University of New York. Her major teachers have included Ronald Roseman, Joseph Robinson, and Randall Cook. Ms. Owens lives in Fairfax, VA, where she teaches at George Mason University.
