Roy Sansom

Roy Sansom has performed with a wide range of groups throughout New England and the USA including the Boston Pops Orchestra, the New York City Opera, the New World Symphony (in Miami),the BEMF Orchestra, Boston Baroque and the Utah Opera. He has played with Emmanuel Music, in their acclaimed weekly Bach cantata series, since 1986.

His recordings include Bach Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 and Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers with Boston Baroque on Telarc Records, A Renaissance Holiday on American Gramaphone, and two Bach Cantata recordings on Koch with Emmanuel Music. He has been featured on "Long Ago and Far Away," a PBS television program for children and on the soundtrack of A&E's Historical Homes of Europe with Bob Villa. Mr. Sansom is on the faculty of the New School of Music in Cambridge, and the Winchester Community Music School.
